What Is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is a procedure of implanting non-toxic pigments into the dermal layer of skin for cosmetic enhancements.
Many procedures can be done with permanent makeup such as beautiful brows, eyeliner, lip liner, full lip color, lip extensions, beauty marks, scar camouflage, hair simulation, and nipple reconstruction.
Pigments are applied with a precise, one time use, hand held instrument (not machine) that is specifically designed for this purpose. This method, known as the hand method, is the easiest, gentlest and precise way to implant pigment onto the face and skin. The end result is soft and natural.
The average longevity of permanent makeup is one to four years. Everybody's body is different. Over time fading will occur and touch-ups will refresh your color.
Little to no discomfort is felt. I use the highest strength topical anesthetic to make sure you are comfortable during the procedure.

How is Permanent Make-up Applied?
Each procedure takes about 2 to 2.5 hours and is completed in two appointments. A before and after picture will be taken. Topical anesthetic is placed for about 20 minutes before the procedure. Once the area is numb the shape will be drawn. Please know that nothing is done without your permission and approval first. Once the color and shape have been agreed upon the application will begin.
Aftercare instructions are always given to you. The color will appear darker for the first two weeks, but will fade into a softer color. This is normal and expected. A complimentary touch-up will be done about 4 weeks after the first procedure for most procedures. This will insure the color and shape. You will then have beautifully placed color that will not rub off.

Eyeliner
A thin line can be placed at the base of the lashes giving a thicker natural look to the lashes. A thicker line can be placed for a more defined eyeliner look.

Lips
Lips can be lined, fully colored, or both. I have to be very careful with darker lip colors. I always work darker lip colors in stages. I have to work slowly because it is easier to go darker than lighter when doing permanent lip color.

Eyebrows are enhanced by creating a feathered natural look. A powdered look can also be created.
